Thank goodness Tom had the foresight to put Lon on our home. Several things about him remind us of our KC builder. We were around a couple times when he spotted things that were "not acceptable" before we noticed them. He is an excellent communicator. Lon would return phone calls within the hour almost every time I called (which was a lot). We were also impressed with Lon's ability to envision things before they were built - our staircase is beautiful and unique thanks to him.
If we [ever] do it all over again we would sign a contract with T-Town because integrity, quality, and communication are important to us. We know that your home building business will grow because of these things. We have already told a couple that is planning to build in the Spring about you. I will forward your web-site and contact info on to them. We will spread the positive word for you, indeed.

Please share with Lon that I really believe he built one heck of a beautiful home and it is very difficult to leave it behind. I found a great home in Houston (good bones) but I will have to add the "wow" factor with the extras that Lon and you built into our home in Owasso.

My Wife and I contracted with Lon Martin to build our dream home last Spring. Lon and his wife, Stephanie, assisted us with design, drafting, fixtures, financing, ect. The experience was great! We were able to move in by Christmas.
Lon and his crews were very professional and responsive. I was always able to reach Lon and he kept me abreast of all progress. He let me know ASAP whenever there was an issue involving cost, design,ect., and always had 2-3 ways to resove the situation. The construction site was always cleaned up and orderly. Lon was on site personally every day checking progress and making sure everything was done correctly.
I had heard numerous horror stories about constructing a large totally custom home given all of the unkowns in the process. Lon completed the project when he said he would finish. Even with including the finishing out of our upstairs that we didn't initially plan on, Lon kept the budget to just 15% over - unheard of on a project like this. Lon was also very helpful in recommending high end looks without the high end price. Even in the current poor market, my home appraised for approximately $100K over what i have invested in it.
Since moving in we have had a few small issues with a stubborn door knob and an HVAC water leak. Lon had these items addressed within a very short period of time.
All of our friends really enjoy sharing our home with us and are impressed with all of its features. We highly recommend Lon and T-Town Construction.
